1. What?

So that's the rights big complaint about healthcare? That we can't afford it? That it's too large a part of our economy fo rthe government to "control?"

First, that it's such a large part of our economy and there are so many uninsured should be a signal that we are paying too much for too little service.
Second, a public option is just that. An option. Not a take over. If people want to continue with the healthcare they have they can.
WTF?
And I was under the impression, someone please correct me if I'm wrong, that the public option would be paid for with the premiums of those that opt into it only it would be more affordable. No? Perhaps a tax on high earners. But no tax increases on middle or low income Americans. Why does the Right keep saying taxes have been and are going to be raised on middle class and low income Americans? I though Obama lowered federal taxes for those groups.

And the bit about the 3 trillion dollar deficit. That's not all Obama is it...that was an inherited mess from Bush and Wall Street wasn't it?

Any clarification would be appreciated...before I'm faced with my wingnut relatives again. :o)
