'Happy holidays' is attack on Christianity(Columbus Dispatch, December 11, 2009)I respond to the Sunday letter, "Generic greeting isn't attack on Christmas," from Joe Catalano. No sir, we cannot agree that replacing "Merry Christmas" with "Happy holidays" is not an attack on Christianity, because it is. Haven't you heard the phrase "Jesus is the reason for the season"?
This is just one prong of a multifaceted attack on Christianity. Other affronts to Christianity include usury (high interest rates charged on credit), stores open on Sunday, no prayer in schools, marriages put asunder by man, homosexual "marriages," legalized abortion (especially late-term), vulgar television shows, President Barack Obama stating that this is not a Christian country and our courts imposing immoral decisions on us without regard to God or majority rule.
I can't end this with "God bless America" because he will not bless a country that has turned its back on him. He did not bless the Israelites when they turned from him, and he won't us, either.

Patrick takes his righteous outrage to a new level by imagining a "multifaceted attack on Christianity" coming from television shows, banks and, no doubt, the alien chip implanted in his wisdom tooth.
