1. Living in Minnesota, there are many opportunities to witness

this, if you wish. The tradition still lives on amongst the Swedish-origin families in the state, and many Lutheran Churches have services for the purpose on that date.

I attended one a couple of years ago, when one of the daughters of my wife's cousin was in it.

I enjoyed the music and spectacle of lights. It's nice to see holidays celebrated in different cultures and to take a break from the hackneyed songs beaten to death from overuse at the local malls. I bookmarked this so that I can feast again.
