So the chief US climate negotiator Todd Stern thought it would be a good idea to snub China in the world spotlight while in Copenhagen. What is this guy thinking????

Even as the world powers try to hammer out a contract at the climate summit, the tempers in Copenhagen are running high. In a rather harsh use of language Chinese vice foreign minister has called US climate negotiator extremely irresponsible.

3. Our politicians

are mainly spoiled wealthy people who treat people like shit. They do it to "low class Americans" every day. Who is surprised by them thinking they can do it to anyone who doesn't flash their wealth and connections around? I voted Obama but he has proven his YALE law degree is his "in the club" trophy. We deserve whatever we get until we grow a backbone and take to the streets and kick the "money changers from the temple" (I am not religious). We need to demand our fair share of the wealth and let these elitists learn to survive the way we have to. Until then, we get what we deserve.CEO's "earning" over 400% of what the average (if he/she still has a job) worker earns. They consider an "average worker" earns about 50 thousand a year. Not where I live or any of the places I visit. 50 thousand a year is waaay above average earnings. Americans are being screwed daily... Take to the streets and take our country back from these elitist "let them eat cake" special interests. We are now a third world country with a huge arsenal (the biggest) yet we can't get a job or get health care. Take to the streets, lets take this country back! Most of us "low class" Americans, know how to treat people politely. Jerry Springer is a T.V. show. Army Privates earn $18,000.00 and most Americans are under or unemployed. We take jobs as minimum wage convenience/gas store cashiers( gas companies "earn" billions of $ in PROFITS) when we used to earn a living wage and still have kids in college. Fuck this.

5. This has been my premise for some time -

However it is vastly different.

There is no doubt that China is diversifying its reserves into commodities - however this does NOTHING to rectify the
fact that they still rely on exports for income primarily from the US.

The stimulus package will only go so far, there must be a return to consumption for continued prosperity. That consumption
was entirely driven by debt - this debt has reached ceiling levels globally - that is what the crisis really is - debt saturation.

Deleveraging is going to happen globally and I fear that China is going to experience its first depression as a capitalist system.

The US is going to depreciate their dollar off a cliff - no reason not too - stops people consuming mindless Chinese stuff, increases
self reliance and domestic production, pays off the debt, destroys China.

The only thing which can stop this will be the OPEC nations moving to a non-us oil bourse - the US will ensure is long term survival - I think
you can all be assured of that - this will come from an attack on Iran as a straight forward simple warning to all nations considering such a move -
especially VEnezeula.

you will understand why the U.S. really began to go downhill and stagnate after Nixon opened up trade with China.
