1. People are alarmed by RWers in media now should really investigate

our history. I remember Winchell as a real POS who had power to destroy careers and reputations, and used it often. There were other earlier RW even fascistic media powers, such as Father Coughlin in the 1930's who railed against FDR and all things progressive and Democratic, like unions and Social Security.
