3. Why is it that I feel like I'm watching the COO of some failing organization,

every time I try to watch Pelosi anymore. That, or she sounds like a real estate agent trying to sell a condo built on a swamp, (The basement never floods...) She looks like even speaking anymore is physically painful, almost as if lying through her teeth is causing some temporal-mandibular joint pain, and it shows in her demeanor.

I think we're going to get bent over following this "reconciliation". No public option, and more free money for insurance companies.

These people have failed us.

to see her take a stand, but there is no chance of that happening. She'll go down with the ship. Few ships sink as fast or as purposely. The US won't make it through another eight years of Republican rule. Then, again, the way things are unfolding, I'm not sure it matters.

you can't just say what you want. That goes for every member here, not just "me"... that's just the way it is. I'd like to say something else about the politician I think she is, but it is not allowed.

As for what made my post an ad hominen, and nasty, I do wonder about her health, because she does appear strung out. It could very well be her thyroid... I dislike the politician she is, but don't wish her ill health, she just does look ill.

I am really not sure what you mean. I have found this place to be extremely open regarding what can be said or not. There may be some rules like threatening the President, but I have never felt restricted myself.

Well, I think that you are very much into wishful thinking. Right around the election, I think that about 100% of the folks here had some really wishful thinking regarding Obama. I suspect that you are still in either high school or middle school and probably looking at things in an overly optimistic way. As President Obama has started deviating from that great Senator Obama that we all supported, people are starting to lose the faith. If he had really delivered on what he campaigned on, he would probably have a 90% approval rating right now, but it is turning out not to be the case. All I can say is keep the faith, but also keep watching actions. If Obama goes down the path that he is currently heading, it will cause some very longstandind damage. Like everybody here, I really do not want to see it, but unless I close my eyes, it is difficult to miss.

despair, and then found out that my despair was misplaced.

Obama has done some excellent things, and he would do a whole bunch more were it not for the Blue Dogs.

What I am watching, is how he gets around the Blue Dogs.

Other people are blaming Obama for the Blue Dogs ---- I am not.
