OFA Director Mitch Stewart recorded a message outlining some of the accomplishments of 2009, the challenges that lie ahead in 2010, and asking for input from supporters on how they want Organizing for America to move forward in the new year.

You're sending out a survey? You're asking us for ideas on the direction of OFA? Well I have a few.

1. A president who will fight for the Public Option and stand up to punks like Joe Lie-bermann, Max Back-Ass, etc.

2. How about doing what you based your campaign on instead of misleading us when we were vaunable.

3. Standing up to repug a-holes like McConnell, Bachman, etc.

4. Call out the people you said you would call-out after the special joint session to Congress.

5. Force the DOJ to investigate crimes of the previous administration--including Yoo and Bybee who wrote the torture memos. I thought there was a Constitutional Law Professor in the WH?

6. Go after the scumbags on Wall-Street via the DOJ, and investigate and prosecute the bastards who let several thousand people lose their homes as a result of fraudulent loans. Banks too.

Is this list big enough for you Mitch or should I go on?

What I like about this video is I am left with a profound moderate and centrist and realistic feeling. Its all better now. Fetch my bunny slippers and a cup of cocoa and pjs and forget about torture, wall street, war, health care...

He has all the conviction of a human resources director trumpeting a great quarter and thanking everyone for the hard work just before they announce mass lay-offs and a move to China.

Such lack of passion, lack of vision and a well rehearsed blandness is a comfort that prevents people from grabbing a propane torch and burning Wall Street and a few gated communities in Connecticut to the ground. Will it keep working?
