2. Dylan's got a new show
This is the first day of his new show, correct?

He doesn't pull any punches about corporate malfeasance.

4. Love Dylan!

I was so worried when his morning show was first cut down to 1 hour, and then terminated. I thought for sure he got sacked (for speaking truth to power).

Too bad his new show is in such an awkward time slot, I'll probably never get to see it live. :(

8. Dylan building career on Geithners back
On CNBC and now Msnbc doing same shit. I was glad to see him go to his two hour show earlier on Msnbc but it didn't take too long before the same airheads that were there previuosly, were back. Today he started with a lot of gossipy airhead stuff before his attacks on Geithner. I was hoping to get away from the repeatative annoying programing. Look out Leno may take over.

13. Geithner needs to have someone battering away at him. Maybe he won't be indicted,
Edited on Mon Jan-11-10 10:53 PM by truedelphi
Impeached or even chagrinned, but hey, it might teach him the manners needed so that when venerable Members of Congress ask questions, he doesn't say "Your government..."

I know the guy only lived in this nation for a full six months while growing up, but isn't this his government also? Or does a person take an oath to Great Britain when they receive an appointment to the Federal Reserve Of New York?

24. A little background on Dylan
"A veteran business journalist, Ratigan served as a Global Managing Editor at Bloomberg News until March 2003. In this position, he supervised more than 110 reporters worldwide covering investment and commercial banking, insurance, hedge funds, private equity, capital markets, securities trading and underwriting.

Additionally, he co-created and hosted "Morning Call" on Bloomberg and the USA Network and in the process conducted countless interviews around the world with notable business and political leaders.

Ratigan has also worked as a contributor to ABC News and has published articles in newspapers and magazines including the New York Times, Washington Post, Miami Herald and the Chicago Tribune. He began his career at The Portsmouth Herald in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Ratigan speaks regularly at major events such as the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He has won numerous awards including the prestigious Gerald Loeb Award for CNBC’s coverage of the Enron scandal in 2004".

25. Why did you leave out 'Fast Money'...
You know this part...,

Dylan Ratigan is the anchor and co-creator of CNBC's "Fast Money".

CNBC's "Fast Money" is a rapid-paced, highly charged hour where four of Wall Street's best traders debate and discuss the hot trades of the day.

This guy was part of the speculation day trading frenzy that helped causes the bubbles and the whole 'make money in my pajamas' work ethic that is destroying this country. Kinda like how Lou Dobbs was the host of 'Moneyline' before he switched to his populist messages against corporations.

19. He is asking the important questions
as to Geithner's part in the bailout. I am so not an Obama basher, but, there are way too many questions when it comes to Geithner's part in the bailout and in particular the 100% payment to Goldman. Since this subject is foreign to many of us, this needs some hearings to explain where our money went. Wasn't Obama's mom an employee of Geithner's dad or him? Maybe Obama is being a bit too loyal.

The upcoming elections could hang on this issue. So could Obama's future. The media is working it's republican magic and making the Dems look like they don't have control. The economy, healthcare in particular, security,....the usual BS. Obama must walk a fine line on all these hot button issues. The Congress can't dump it all on the President.

Dylan was damned impressive in the a.m.. Blunt and seemed honest.

21. Dylan laid it all out there: A crime has been committed against the American people
and Geithner stands at the door refusing to let us examine the evidence. Not much more to say about that. I just wonder about the apologists. What would they be saying if this was a Bush cabinet member pulling this crap on us?

22. Oh, he's on here now. Inteviewing Corker who is evading questions of windfall profits taxes on
the businesses who received TARP money. I think that's a great idea. Ratigan also proposed a 50% tax on bonuses of over $50,000, another great idea. Too bad the Senator kept dancing away from it.

23. this guy is going places
im watching his show now and i love it.
Very refreshing
I don't like the quirky segments they are including, id rather see him do what he does best and that is to get to the issues.
The quirky segments feel forced as if he would rather be talking about something else.
Keep up the good work Dylan!
