1. Love that woman. She is so smart, so articulate, and such an incredible voice for progressives.

3. She has some great points and insights!
I couldn't agree more with some of what she was expressing.

However, the left in this country needs to understand the following: the reason why the right walks in lockstep and can control the message is very simple, it is their job.

Traditionally the left has been associated with labor/middle class. I.e. the producers of wealth, that is our job. We make things, we provide services, we make the world go round so to speak.

The right traditionally has been associated with the political and economic elites. I.e. the classes associated with the concentration and preservation of wealth.

Note the difference in job descriptions: we have to work hard to make the stuff that leads to the creation of wealth. The right does not have to work to create the wealth, but rather to preserve that wealth that we provide to them at the end of our workday. Meaning, that when you see some right wing politician, rich CEO, or paid for right wing shill.... you are seeing them working. They are not there to offer their opinion, they are there to work, and their work is to preserve their wealth. And that is exactly why 1% of people get to control almost half of the wealth: because they work damn hard to hoard and preserve it.

When you see a representative of labor, for example, you are seeing someone who is trying in many cases to defend the interest of his socio economic class... not as his or her main job, but in many cases as an extra (pro bono) addition to his or her actual job. That is why we have amateurs brandishing plastic sporks after their shift at KFC is done... going to a gun fight against professional sharp shooters that do nothing all day but practice shooting.
