This is a Rabbi who lives in New York that I like to watch occasionally. He also owns a small retail shop.

Today apparently he was thinking about peoples economic situation. (which he hears about a lot obviously considering his professions)

Basically in this video he is considering the possibility that the next major collapse won't be on Wall Street, but with people themselves.

Self-sufficiency would be great but requires some capitol to get started, land/property, a generator, a form of heating, and charitable friends, relatives, and neighbors- but I have met a few who reverted back to working eventually.

2. Well what he is rally talking about is a general strike.

And that would do it....it would bring the financial system to a halt.
But people are way to afraid to do something like that....slavery is much more comfortable.

3. Well, OK, but do it on the rich

Go homestead on THEIR golf courses. Plant potatoes and turnips on THEIR fairways. Use THEIR yachts to go fishing. Cut down THEIR trees for firewood. Graze your herd of goats on THEIR front lawns. Make the walls of their gated communities prison walls beyond which they don't dare venture.
