5. George Washington was not affiliated with a political party-

-although my understanding is that he tended more towards the Federalists (who were the more conservative party at the time) He was an aristocrat and a slave holder, which suggests to me that he would have most likely been a Republican if he had lived today -although he'd probably have been a moderate (or maybe a conservative Democrat) I just can't picture him as one of the teabagger crazies.

Thomas Jefferson was a Democratic Republican (The party that ultimately became the Democratic Party) and would still have been a Dem if he lived today (probably too honest and idealistic to ever be President though)

Abe Lincoln would almost certainly have been a Democrat today.

How about the part where he was reading to her from his journal? That was hysterical. I also love the way these idiots totally romanticize the past. I bet if these conservative idiots lived back during the revolutionary times they'd be calling our Founders traitors and demanding their execution.
