2. that is a fucking moronic thing to say.
i like his show, but that's just dumb.

i wouldn't cheat to give someone victory even if it meant i could have Kucinich as President. neither would anyone else who respects democracy.

26. Chances are fair that "cheating" helped prevent WWIII in 1962
If Kennedy used the Daley machine to win Illinois then this "anti-democratic" effort saved us from war with the Soviets. Surely Nixon would have had U.S. forces invade Cuba and likely touched off a nuclear exchange.

I'm not sure that so-called "cheating" is such a bad idea when the corporations are pouring money and lies into the mix 24/7.

3. What a dumb thing to say.
I can already hear the reTHUGs chortling to themselves about how they can use those ill-advised words.

Not helpful at all, Ed.

8. Agree. If Schultz ever runs for Senator and wins a close race, he will be accused of cheating
Even if he didn't cheat. Republicans will point to the time he said cheating is ok.

9. Everybody has a motive to cheat (voter or even non-voter) so Ed wins honesty points
That's why transparent elections where we all watch the process and each other are the only way to go.

Screw it and cheat if you have to.

13. I understand the sentiment, but it's not the way to go only fair, free and transparent elections...
Edited on Sat Jan-16-10 10:59 PM by ProgressOnTheMove

are as it should be democracy decides if it's the peoples will to go to the glory days of 1994, so be it. Still I can really understand how he feels, it is make or break time. Anything other than fair and free elections overrides the will of the people making the whole thing a scam. Two wrongs won't ever make the system right, if we didn't fight hard enough for our candidate we ultimately determine our own fate. Democracy basically means people rule one person one vote, and if on the right one "moran" one vote.

16. Worried about giving ammunition to the Party of Limbaugh?
Just keep replaying the Haiti and Michael J. Fox comments 24/7.

What Shultz said wasn't anything compared to the Drugster.

25. Dems are crappy at this politic thing
Republicans cheat and when they get called on it turn the tables around and spew crybabies and sour grapes rhetoric. Dems on the other hand are just clueless at how to lead and/or play in the major league politics game.

Big Eddy is right. They are bastards!!!!!!!
