Rep. Steve King (R-IA), one of the most outspoken conservatives in Congress, took to the House floor last night to celebrate the victory of Sen.-elect Scott Brown (R-MA) as a populist uprising against what he called the Democrats' socialist agenda.

"How could you possibly take away, spend enough money, and take away enough liberty, that the three-and-a-half to one Democrats to Republicans in Massachusetts would elect the Republican to come down to the United States Senate and vote against cloture, so that the Harry Reid bill could be killed in the Senate?" King asked rhetorically. "How could you ever spend that much money? I didn't believe it was possible, Mr. Speaker. But I -- some would say a miracle has taken place tonight, and I wouldn't disagree with that. I believe there has been intervention, and I'm grateful for it."

10. So God put the Democrats in power in 2008
And he let them win two more seats since then. This is only one seat in congress that the republicans have won. Of course a governorship is much more important than a representative or senator. Especially to a red state like Virginia that doesn't do much for the populance there anyway. All they do in Virginia is sit and wait, for a democrat, to come back in power and clean up the republican mess. And this will be another of the times after McDonnell gets thru.

And while I am at it, can anyone explain, why when a republican wins anything they next thing the republicans scream and yell is, we want him for president...McDonnell when he won the governorship for Virginia...and now brown when he scooted to victory in MA> gee guess they dont have very many people they think could win an election they have to grab one that has.
