Hardball-Salon's Joan Walsh jumps on Obama for 'ineffectiveness' and views the vote in Massachusetts as a sign that the Congress and the President are not progressive enough, not that they have been moving too far left. She adds 'this is garbage that he (Obama) bowed to his left. This is a corporate bill, with corporate giveaways that the left is pissed about...'

The repubs are laughing their asses off. They know Obama is no Progressive. but if they and the MSM can paint him as such....the real progressive movement will be harmed. That is what they are counting on, because most Americans agree with Progressive positions. If they can convince Americans that Obama is a Progressive (not even close), then they will be able to turn most people away from real or perceived Progressives. 3. The perception Obama portraied was "he's for the little guy" and willing to

fight for us, but I believe about the only thing he is good at is what's easy. One of the main roles of goverment is to protect the little guy from the big fish like "monopolized corporate health insurance" that has been raking americans over the coals in a million different ways forever, and what is this guy about to do, deliver 40 million of us into the jaws of this shark, and make us pay top dollar for the privilege. These guys are making deals and asking permission and placating big business, this is just go-along get-along politics that's a waste of everyones time.
