Mark Green says that Democrats can either pull themselves together after Coakley's loss and fight for real change, or they might find themselves running off a cliff.

1. I reckon they'll go the Joe Lieberman way.
Current events predict future trends.

2. They need to deeply restress why healthcare is SO needed.
We have lost our focus and purpose. How many need to die due to lack of affordable healthcare?

3. Just pass the bill...
31 million Americans with health insurance is a huge step forward. I't a foot in the door. It will be easier turn the screws on the insurance companies once we have them regulated. We know what happens if it fails.

4. Right, like we turned the screws on the Too Big To Fail Banks
We learned so much from those bailouts I can't see why we shouldn't make indentured servants of the American people to the Too Big To Fail Insurers as well.

Believe me when I say I have attempted to see the appeal from that perspective. Problem is, we don't need insurance we cannot afford or cannot afford to use. We need health care. Making the argument that we should give in to PhRMA and Big Insurance demands in order to save the hostages is not a winning position nor is it acceptable. In a mature democracy should we really have to ask permission of an industry to regulate that industry or provide health care for all the people? Do you realize how stupid the arguments being circulated sound to the rest of the civilized world?

Look at campaign contributions for yourself. See who is taking money from the "terrorists" on Wall Street and Parasitic "Care" Industry.

Did you see today's story about DOJ settling with the child dental care company? Have you seen the stories of billions of dollars in fraud committed by other health "care" companies and how they are able to commit that fraud and still roam free? These people and the companies they represent should not be negotiated with, compromised with, or settled with.
