still in President Obama's corner for the most part whether that be right or wrong. I just feel you make the most of all you have. As the senate numbers stand all the voices and activists influence is now very important and much stronger. They need our money, and if not that our work to promote them. We need every resource we can get to set the train back on tack. Our voice just has to get more and more widely heard as the truth cannot be denied. After the ruling today number one priority making sure every person in the nation is a passionate for campaign finance reform as they are for the investment banks to be regulated. Apparently, because the ruling was 5-4 it can be reversed at a later date because it wasn't' unanimous have no idea how long that period is though.

I commend Sotomayor and the other 3 justices for standing on the right side of history, this is where I still believve in Pres. Obama.

3. One Dollar One Vote
I don't know if I'm doing this right. But here is another video on this. Seems even Teddy Roosevelt was for the Separation of Corporation and State.

6. K&R . Interesting to hear the dissenting opinions.
So disappointed that the fact that corporations can have substantial foreign ownership didn't hold sway with the majority.

Or that corporations which have none of the responsibilities or liabilities of individuals-- (i.e. we can't throw the sellers of Vioxx in jail for life as serial killers, my example, not Thom's)-- are somehow entitled to the right to dominate the free speech rights individual natural persons have with their conglomerate SuperPeople mountains of cash and profits.

7. We need a rapid push to revoke corporate personhood.

Motion to Amend

We, the People of the United States of America, reject the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Citizens United, and move to amend our Constitution to:

* Firmly establish that money is not speech, and that human beings, not corporations, are persons entitled to constitutional rights.
* Guarantee the right to vote and to participate, and to have our vote and participation count.
* Protect local communities, their economies, and democracies against illegitimate "preemption" actions by global, national, and state governments.

I signed the petition at Move to Amend

and have learned a lot from Thom Hartmann as well as the Reclaim Democracy website. For background on the topic of corporate personhood:
