My gut feeling is that whenever someone like Madam Speaker of the House goes out and says that the House will not pass the Senate bill the real meaning is that <wink wink> <nudge nudge> she is simply signaling to the Big Industry players that they need to visit her and other Representatives offices' and put their bid in.

The legislators in this nation are always looking for a hand out and usually once it is provided, they end up helping to do the thing that is so very right for industry.
