I have had the occasion to travel around the rural areas of our state and what I have encountered is that the vast majority of these rural people, including their teenage children, admire the likes of Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity and Beck. You go into the local businesses, especially restaurants and bars, and they will have these propagandists on and all of them are nodding in agreement with whatever crap they are spewing. It is like they all have the same common mind set. I find it somewhat intimidating and kind of scary. I can't help to wonder what these people may be capable of being induced to do. This isn't the South but in the West and they are as racist as anything I encountered in the South where I grew up. I would hate to have to live in most of these towns.
