1. Detroit has turned into such a shithole.

3. Well....yeah.

Detroit was systematically de-industrialized because of the globalization. Nothing good has come from free trade-nothing. It has harmed indigenous people around the world and it has harmed communities in the U.S. where manufacturing used to thrive.

The last thing we needed in a new century of scarcer resources and growing populations was a race to exploit both. This can't have a happy ending, it just can't.

2. Marabel worked and did all the things she was suppose to do. She looks like

she did her best.

I live near this city.

It has looked like a third world city for years.
To hear bonuses being passed around while this American city looks like this
makes me really disgusted with America.

Take a look at the images from her block.

Now multiply that by 40 square miles and you can picture the entire city.

The poverty and destruction would blow your mind away.
