2. I think Rachel's the one whose confused this time...
She should've waited at least until she heard the speech before criticizing it. That goes for the others, as well.

8. No, just being pre-emptive
HOPE-fully, someone in the Administration is listening and might just decide that Rachel's analysis is correct, and other "triangulation" is in order.

7. The fact we have not heard the speech nothwithstanding, Rachel
Maddow is right as rain. This would be the biggest policy mistake since Noah forgot to put restrooms on the Ark. Businesswise, the exact time to spend money is when things are going badly. If you do otherwise, it perpetuates the bad times and then makes them worse. Total recapitulation. Can you say Romney in 2012?

9. Unemployment is slowing because everyone is already laid off...
They have cut the workforce to the bone. Unless they shut down the entire United States (which is a possibility) and turn off the lights.. there is not much more they can strip away.

10. Is it too late for Obama to replace Biden with Palin?
I am just brainstorming here a bit..... So, what other decisions could Obama make to completely sink his presidency and the democratic party for many years to come. This is a great start... embrace the guy's policy that you beat. Obama is smart... he can probably figure out other, more effective ways, just give him some time.
