10. The President did a good job.
I disagree with him and with Republicans on nuclear energy and more trade agreements. And I would like to know what he is talking about when he discusses "clean coal." Is there such a thing as clean coal.

I will never forget attending a meeting in 1974 of world leaders in the energy sector. A gentleman from Canada stood up during the discussion on alternative energy and said that he represented the nuclear energy industry in Canada and that the reason that they preferred nuclear energy was that it gave them a product to sell. And I would and that what he meant was that it gave them a product they could sell and sell and sell.

Nuclear energy insures that large corporations can keep you and me dependent on them, paying increasingly high costs for energy.

Wind energy involves initial investment and a lot of maintenance costs but is not environmentally dangerous.

Solar energy involves the replacement of the solar panels or other devices and some upkeep. I like the idea of using as much solar energy as possible because I think that 50 years from now it will clearly win the cost/benefit contest. And solar energy means that consumers can achieve more control over their own energy flow and become independent to a certain extent when it comes to energy.
