The best SNL political sketch wasn't on NBC this week. In case you missed it you can see it here on Funny or Die:

1. SNL is a shadow of its former self and only a little less useless
than this idiotic bozo that keeps making these u-tubes.

3. Sure. I'm a big fan of Dr. Death. He has many trainees working
underground...soon to be on ground.

4. I hope you understand that I am asking Dr. K to be referred to
finally nailing the coffin shut on SNL ... not an attack on you ...

5. Copy that...I was watching SNL when the original crew was on
with Jane Curtin, Balushi (sp), Radnor, etc. It was funny then. Nothing is too funny anymore. Course, I stopped watching tv around the time of Dallas. I drift by every once in a while when my wife is watching in the living room. No thanks. Beaver, Mary Tyler Moore, Lassie, I Love Lucy...those were entertaining--and funny. I don't find anyting funny in these shows anymore. Heidi Klum dismissing a designer that created something that looks like a grocery bag with ribbons and having serious conversation about it? Different world, zbent. If this is your world, that is okay; I understand relativity... It's just somewhat disturbing to me. Sorry to type your eyes off here.

7. I'm a Bozo. . .
. . . but you're ripping SNL when you admit to never watching it? That's like Sarah Palin blasting "The Family Guy" the other day for making a joke about her without ever having watched the show.

8. I've watched the show, maybe two-three times for about 15-20
minutes in the last six months. Why are you calling yourself a Bozo?

9. Why Bozo
I am the video maker, John Kramer, and you referred to me as being a bozo in your first comment. You also state later that you "stopped watching tv around the time of Dallas" which would seem to indicate that you no longer watch SNL. I'm just responding to what you write.

10. Well, okay. I stopped watching tv except for those times I want to
see if a show from yesteryear is still on. I should have said I don't regularly watch tv. Sorry for calling you a Bozo. Had I known you were a member here I would not have done it. I still don't like SNL. The characters have no depth. No soul. Again, sorry: I will not comment on your u-tubes again. I certainly couldn't do them as well.

12. No Problem
I enjoy a good argument. I do the SNL commentaries because the show provides the only weekly, nationally broadcast platform for political satire sketches. As such, they have an amazing ability to influence the political dialogue of the nation (for better or worse.)

6. Last night's SNL was embarassingly bad. I could only watch Weekend Update.
Fred Armison does a pretty good Obama, but the writer's don't give him any lines.

13. MAD TV is off the air
They were canceled, and they pretty much only did parodies. But I like a lot of their material-- especially with Keegan-Michael Key (who I used to work with and is a super nice guy.)
