1. Damn, only Dick Cheney could raise a daughter

that is so ...... trying to think of word..... hateful, divisive, vile?... anyway, not sure what word best describes the fruit of Darth's loins. Nevertheless, she actually went so far that even members of today's Republican party have called her out on it. You have to try pretty damn hard to do that. Ever since Obama's election, I have seen lie after lie repeated and blame given to Obama on things where Bush did the exact same thing. Until now, nothing. This is the first time that somebody actually went far enough to cross the line. I was starting to think that there wasn't a line.

2. It is clear that Liz Cheney and her ilk don't give one iota about truth, justice, the American way,

OR national security. This is all about demonizing the Obama administration and trying to polish the Bush legacy. Can you imagine what a chilling effect if would have on our justice system if all lawyers who represented unsavory characters were accused of sympathizing with their clients? This is incredibly shameful, proving once again that the Cheney clan has no scruples.

3. I consider Liz Cheney to be an un-American traitor.

There apparently is no "line" that treasonous conservatives will not cross in their race for the bottom. This awful woman is one of the worst of the horrid conservatives that have infested our once-great nation. Her father, of course, is unspeakably vile, a sociopath who should be tried and executed for his war crimes, except that we apparently don't do that any more, at least not to wealthy republicans.

So she referred everyone to Mr. Always-Wrong, Bill Kristol. Laughable. What a horrible woman.

5. They're believers in the Big Lie

Just bold as brass, keep saying Iraq had ties to 9/11 and torture saves American lives and the worst thing you could do with an accused criminal is try them in a court of law. It's so outrageous that people don't even know how to react to it. Then suddenly (maybe) it becomes the received truth.

When you've done the things Cheney has done, committed the crimes he has, caused the harm he has caused, and shown yourself to be completely corrupt AND inept, what do you have to lose by trying to convince everyone we imagined it all?

Because if we didn't, he's toast.
