Bob, the man with Parkinson's who was targeted by the Tea Partiers, sat down with ProgressOhio for an interview. He is 60 years old and was first diagnosed with Parkinsons 15 years ago. He has two masters degrees and a Ph.D. from Cornell. He taught at the University of Michigan and worked as a nuclear engineer.

Bob was able to have a $150,000 surgery that greatly increased his quality of life, thanks to Medicare and the Cleveland Clinic. He attended the event in Columbus because he believes in giving back and thinks everyone should have access to affordable health insurance and quality health care.

We've watched as a year of Obama's tenure has been spent trying to get things done in a peaceful and pleasant manner. Where has it gotten us??? What's that line about fighting fire with fire? 10. 1st - they attacked not only a handicapped person, but a genius compared to them - Bob needs lifted

up as a great man of principle and toasted, literally! He needs to be celebrated so much that the asshats who assaulted him with vile aggressive in your face taunts that they are humiliated by their families and coworkers. If his story is published enough with that video - the men in the video will be discovered.

Of course, they'll be absolute losers as we suspect. And as suspected, this gentleman in the video is a brilliant person.

12. Wing nuts never look past a disability the person has they see them as one

of 2 things,#1 lazy bums not willing to work for a rehab scam place or #2 hard workers that work at rehabs so they aren't taking a government hand out. Neither 1 or 2 are true, 1 the person is unable to work even at a rehab and 2 the guy working at the rehab still gets government help, the rehab neither provides health care benefits nor does it pay enough for the disabled to get off SSDI or SSI, it pays enough for added income. Rehab work shops pay a percentage of min wage, anywhere from 1% to 99%, if you hit 100% production you are then deemed non disabled and fired. Thats one reason it is a scam, the other is it gets government money and work for employing the disabled.
