I am Randy Neugebauer, the Congressman who said the Democrat’s health care bill is a baby-killer. Now, Democrats are demanding that I apologize for it. I think Red State is a good place to respond to that request, and Erick Erickson was kind enough to allow me to do so.

While the floor of the House was the wrong place to shout out my objection, the fact remains that this legislation will kill babies. And yet, in the face of bi-partisan opposition, Democrats passed the bill anyway.

We now have a clear mission. We must fight like the lives of our children depend upon it. They do. I will fight to repeal this bill. Will you?

I don't understand. Obama reafirmed that no federal money would be used for abortions. What else did they want. To lock pregnant women up in the cellar til they gave birth. And then they would cut benefits so the babies died anyway.

I am sick and tired of old fucking white men (ie. - Republicans) who THINK they are gonna live forever telling the rest of what is best of this country.

He should focus his efforts on adoption placement and counseling services for unplanned pregnancies instead of serving in the Congress if this issue is that fucking important to him. He should spend his remaining months on the planet setting up ways to care and provide for these "precious lives" instead of telling women what their reproductive rights should be.

Fight like the lives of their children depend on it? What fucking color is the sky in these asshat's world anyway? This reform law (its no longer a bill people, so lets not let the Pukes define ANOTHER debate point) expressly FORBIDS insurance companies from dropping children for pre-existing conditions. I guess that means Republican babies never get sick? Or is congressman Douche-nozzle suggesting that he is in favor of making sure insurance companies CAN continue to throw sick children off the rolls?
