FDR was faced with a myriad of calamities for which Government was the answer

1. Americans have short memories or were never taught the struggles of this

country and why we have a central government. I watched this on History Channel or Nat. Geo., one of those, and they did a great job of presenting what happened. It was horrible.

2. I was born in North Texas just south of the Red River

There was an older couple who used to take care of my brother and me. He used to tell me about having to dig out after the dust storms.

I wish that the History channel would do more of that and less Hitler's Bodyguard, etc.

3. They do get stuck on Hitler sometimes, don't they... sometimes non-stop. I don't

see how people's lungs survived, of course, many didn't. It just must have been so very very horrible.
