employees were encouraged to avoid touching returned undergarments and bathing suits, since they were often really nasty - just let the customer leave it on the counter and when their out of sight pick it up with a plastic bag and toss it in the bin.

Before I had that job, which had the classy title of "Internal Audit Manager - Supply Chain" I would have thought women would be to embarrassed to return garments with either menstrual blood or shit on them, but it turns out they aren't.

6. Ohhh! my friend Glitter had this idea in 1994.

She would pay the women in our office for their panties which she would sell on the internet. Yes it was that long ago.

When my office staff said "We are hiring Glitter's daughter." I said. "What is her name? 'Sparkle'? They said "Yeah!!! How did you guess?" They kept that up for two days. I eventually found out her name was Kelly. Kelly has been my dearest friend ever since. Life is good like that.:hi:

In these cases, the underwear was not worn and did not look worn. What was the store supposed to do with the returned underwear?
Should stores have policies that prohibit the return of underwear?

9. Yes they should if the state they're in doesn't already prohibit it

My understanding is that it's already against Iowa law for retailers to accept used underwear for return. I've been to stores out here that have signs up that say as much.
