Today about 31% of first born children are born out of wedlock. It appears that the civil rights movement caused an enormous amount of out of wedlock fucking...for everyone.


Damn those civil rights activists and their immoral dream of equal rights. If we just go back to the days when Master could screw any woman in his stable we would be much better off.

5. This guy did not see what was going on in Alabama in the 1950s

The poverty and misery among African-Americans was heartbreaking. Long before average Americans became aware of the civil rights movement, African-American youths were moving north to find work in places like Detroit and Los Angeles. Why? Because they were ambitious and had no opportunities -- none whatsoever -- in Alabama.

My dad worked with a lot of disabled people including African-Americans. I saw the poverty, the misery and the heartbreak up close -- in a way that few in Alabama did.

I remember going with my dad to bring some food to an African-American family. I was a teenager, and we were barely making ends meet in our own family. But when I saw the conditions that African-American family lived in, I was horrified. There was a hole in the floor in one corner of the living room that was so large that I, as a teenager, could have crawled in and out of it with no problem. Beneath the hole you could see the dirt beneath the house. It was winter, mind you.

Traveling through the state over the years, I passed one tiny shotgun house after the other -- each more dilapidated and less habitable than the previous one -- all being lived in if you can call it that.

Of course, when African-Americans live in that kind of poverty in communities in which the rich, white kids drive the latest Pontiac, all but the exceptional African-Americans become depressed. They either feel worthless and incapable of doing more or they feel cheated. I know this because of my own experiences being a relatively poor kid in a society of wasteful spendthrifts.

Depressed people are those who have been beaten so much that they no longer see any point in trying to stand up and act to improve their situation. And depression is passed on from generation to generation in many families. Slavery survived because slave owners mastered not just their slaves but the cruelty needed to prevent their slaves from developing their wills to reject the conditions of slavery. That is what was so criminal about the institution of slavery.
