As reported earlier on DU, there are 88 nominees on the Senate calendar – and they are all facing filibusters from the GOP in the Senate.

Do you understand the filibuster concept? Do you hate it? Love it?

7. there is no problem.. wait till it shows their colors.. make them read the phone book on CSPAN for

a couple of months... it can work against them. we show up on every TV program explaining it..

8. Michael Moore also said that the filibuster could work against the GOP...

... if we got to watch them tying up the Senate with endless babble.

Unfortunately, nowadays they can filibuster without pulling out the phone book or saying anything at all. If there aren't 60 votes to stop the filibuster, they can "pretend" that they had one and get the same results.

Very unfortunate.

But I would love to see them have to do it for real and show the public what jerks they are!
