Palin sniffed: "One of the media outlets the other day just-was killing me on this one, Sean, where they had a caption across their screen that said Arizona law will make it illegal to be an illegal immigrant? Some bizarre type of headline like that where it was just this illustration that they just don't get it."

As they noted, unfortunately that "lamestream media" program she was talking about is Fox & Friends. Looks like Sarah McWordSalad stepped in it again.

8. Doublespeak as Orwell intended

Only 23 seconds into his spiel Hannity calls the protests "PRO ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION RALLIES". From this point on it never gets any more real, just repeatedly goes over the cliff of misrepresentation (and idiocy). Hannity's attempts to paint the law as reasonable, saying no one on the left has read the law but he has, overlooks the fact that the law calls for up to six months in jail for anyone who IS a legal citizen but is not carrying PROOF. A driver's license is not proof of citizenship. If, as Hannity claims, there is no racial profiling involved then one must assume that everyone in the sate will be subjected to this process.

The most disturbing aspect for me was Mrs. Palin's mantra that this is something the Federal govt should be doing. Subtle language implanting the idea that every state should have a law requiring anyone to prove they are a legal citizen of the US. As the Greg Palast thread on DU pointed out, the obvious goal is to repress the latino vote through intimidation. The darker implication is a police state not unlike Germany during WWII.

I mean it. I've got a really good grasp of the English language, and I can't tie the two ends of most of her sentences together into a coherent thought. Let's start out on the Lame-stream Media's Misrepresentation Boulevard, turn left onto The Federal Government's lack of Border Patrol Highway, and end up at Obamacare International Airport, all without hitting a period or taking a breath. She must be one hell of a snorkeller.

I don't know about you all, but it seems to me this whole illegal immigration fiasco just POPPED UP all of a sudden.. Kinda bout the same time the talk of reforming wall street did. Conspiracy tells me Arizona pulled this BS just to create a situation that they can throw in Obama's face, scream to fix, and all the while hold him back.

These mid term elections always suck for Dems. The base REALLY DOES need to get recharged and fast. Do it while the tea baggers are getting over the HCR Stone Cold Stunner and confusing themselves over screaming about reforming wall street--- TO WALL STREET, or screaming at Obama and blaming him some more.

Fuck that. The Democrats need to have the upper hand shout this year all the way into election day. It's gonna be a long hot summer indeed.

15. oh good another person who knows little about Arizona now an Expert

Amazing how many now know so much about the people in Arizona that has no working knowledge of the state. Simply amazing and I have lived in Arizona 3 years now. DAMN I guess I was an expert on Arizona up until 3 years ago since I had been to Arizona before in 61, and passed through it before. Now I am not knowledgeable of it because I live here. Just another moron who has little knowledge of the state that now is an expert on it. I for one am getting tired of all these goofy people.
