MSNBC Countdown w/ LAWRENCE O'DONNELL - 20 July 2010. Former NAACP chairman Julian Bond says they were "snookered" by Brietbart.

BOND: "They (White House/administraton/USDA) were working under a different set of facts then. Now they know the truth. They know that she was a victim. They know that she was manipulated. We know that her speech was edited. We know that she didn't do or say the things we were meant to believe that she said or did. We know she was treated badly. And we know she needs some recompense. She needs some apology. She needs to have a bad situation made right. And I think the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which has troubles enough of its own, can make this right, too."

She deserves to be reinstated! Vilsack needs to be made to give her job back, apologize, and denounce Breitbart's edited version of her speech, and FOX complicity in airing it repeatedly. The same way Fox edited tapes of the "pimp and prostitute" ACORN incident. The full version aired on Rachel Maddox show, but by then the damage had been done. The White House ended their use of ACORN, and again FOX lied and won! They ran the same theme on Van Jones, who stepped down from his job as well. Too bad someone couldn't get FOX and fiends to do the right thing and step down!

8. gee... that's nice that Bond is apologizing

but the fact of the matter is that the NAACP allowed themselves to be snookered. Neither dullfart or fux noose MADE them do or believe anything---they chose to accept at face value and on the spot the lie that dullfart and fux noose were advancing---knowing FULL WELL what fux noose, sludge report and buttboy dullfart are capable of. None of these entities is brand new this week---they've all left a well documented trail of lies, deceit and manipulation of fact. So own your fukkery on that, folks.

1. The NAACP always had a copy of the full speech in their possession. At any time before they pounced on her head, they could have
viewed the video and arrived at the same conclusion without having to drag Ms. Sherrod through the mud before
hand.

2. *IF* they had viewed the tape before pouncing on Ms. Sherrod's head, they would have been able to at least attempt to curb the idiotic, knee-jerk reaction of the White House and of nutsack.

3. If the White House weren't so goddamn afraid of fux noose and their myrmidons, this would have been squashed before it got life.
