"The Flower" contrasts a utopian society that freely farms and consumes a pleasure giving flower with a society where the same flower is illegal and its consumption is prohibited. The animation is a meditation on the social and economic costs of marijuana prohibition.

4. It's a family joke..

I have been passionate and involved in HCR since the early 90's. When my kids became older, I tried to get them involved as well. In their youth they thought it to be a thankless job and no real change would ever be achieved (I'm starting to agree). They used to tell me no one really appreciated the work I put into it.
