10. Maybe a dumb question, but when they audit the Federal Reserve
does that include auditing the Pentagon's loss of trillions or are they totally separate? And if they are separate, why don't they audit the Pentagon? There's been some serious stealing going on there, and it seems to be the civilian's that work there that are doing the stealing. This is slowly becoming a really big issue to me and nobody seems to give a shit.

And sadly, I doubt you could find 10 Senators who'd find the spine to audit the Pentagon and weather the political attack ads of being "weak" on "defense"--let alone 51.

40. So they will all just sit on their hands and act as if nothing is wrong
rather than at least inquire about it? If not being able to account for a trillion dollars is not a good reason to at least inquire about it, then the Senators AND ALL THE REST OF US are just saying "do it again". Why in the world should they stop stealing if no one is going to call them on it? I just don't get it.

But, there's more of us than there are corporate CEO's, so if we act collectively by the millions, we can still make a difference. I, for one, will not give up, and if I get the job offer as a result of my interview today, Alan is going to get $25 from me pronto!

And I'm going to sign up to volunteer to help my own Congressman, John Larson. A low key guy, but up there in the House Democratic caucus. If not the actual head of it?

on a regular basis?

I do and I really like the reporting he does! The show that comes on right afterward HDNET World Report is not bad either...Both are far better than any other news show on cable in my opinion. Well, that is if you don't get Al-Jazeera English.

Does Al-Jazeera English have a 24hr Cable News Channel in America yet? Or at all?

35. Dream on!
As a former SKY subscriber, I heartily second your view of Al Jazeera (in English!) as the best cable news program. But HDNet will have to do for US viewers - for the most part - unless they view Al Jazeera via the Internet.
If HDNet had the "cojones" to hire Dan Rather, one of the few broadcast journalists that I respect, then there's good there.
I personally will never forgive CBS for railroading Rather for broadcasting the truth about AWOL Bush.

51. Since I made my post guess what I found!
I did a search on my Direct TV system and I actually have two channels that show a 30 min Al-Jazeera News show! I feel stupid and pleasantly surprised! I have set the DVR to record it every night!

After finding this out I searched the internet to see what providers carry it in the US...

Direct TV & Dish Network...So, you have to have one of these two satellite providers to see it. Otherwise you can watch Al-Jazeera on the internet anytime you want.

Having said that I sure hope Al-Jazeera English creates a 24hr cable news to air in the US! We need something to offset FOX "News" and force the MSM to cover more than they do...You know, act like the journalist they claim to be!

Edited on Tue Aug-03-10 12:53 PM by Larry Ogg
It's good that Grayson got so far as a token jester to show some pretense of legitimacy within our fraudulent monetary system, but this will not suffice those who are no longer under the illusion that the Federal Reserve is nothing more or less than a organized crime syndicate made legal and then concealed by venal politicians; and it has been allowed to endure since its creation in 1913 because of the incompetent crooked cowardice it (along with its crony corporations) finances to run our pretend democracy for the benefit of the status quo predator class.

For anyone who is unaware as to one of the main objectives of the Federal Reserves, maybe the following will offer a clue...

History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling the money and its issuance. President James Madison

The Government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credits needed to satisfy the spending power of the Government and the buying power of consumers. By the adoption of these principles, the taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest. Money will cease to be master and become the servant of humanity. Abraham Lincoln

If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property, until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. Thomas Jefferson.

A few who can understand the system (check money and credits) will either be so interested in it's profits, or so dependent on its favors, that there will be no opposition from that class, while on the other hand, the great body of the people mentally incapable of comprehending the tremendous advantage that capital derives from the system, will bear it's burdens without complaint, and perhaps without even suspecting that the system is inimical to their interests. Rothschild, London

Does anyone think that these historical quotes have nothing to do with what's going on with our economy, or maybe it feels better to believe that their just some excerpts out of a Jewls Vern science fiction novel; for me the Federal Reserve is on my checklist of questions, of which I need to know of politicians before I will vote for them. If they support the Federal Reserve they are either crooked or incompetent and they have no place in a Democratic government...

Again take a look around and see what is happening to our country, and when you go to the poles to cast you vote take a good look at who your voting for and ask yourself... Does this politician support the legalized crime banking system known as the Federal Reserve? And if you vote for such a person, don't cry when all your wealth and that of your children and that of their unborn children is stolen away...

Who aperiodically rob the taxpayer into the poorhouse in bust and boom cycles, lest they become to uppity or gain any power. So don't expect much from an audit unless some very smart auditor inadvertently cracks into the real books under so many layers they will need heavy lifting equipment and a rosetta stone to decipher.

I am writing in Allen Grayson on the primary ballot and I hope a lot more folks do the same and I will keep stressing this, till there is a strong write in campaign for the primary.

Now that would be a wakeup alarm, to the DLC'ers flirting with making the Democratic party pug light and trying to get pugs, not batshit crazy enough to wear the R, to run with a D after their names where they have a chance to win; Thus destroying the Democratic party; Que the DINOs, Bluedogs and DLC'ers.

Edited on Wed Aug-04-10 05:07 PM by ooglymoogly
or how they became the monkey on our backs....All hidden in the cobwebs of the federal reserve and its license to steal by creating boom and bust cycles.

An honest Audit could reveal that and the all too cozy relationship to the treasury, working in close tandem; That is all too symbiotic, with theft and mafia tactics on herculean steroids by simply tightening and loosening the money supply at just the right times to buy up for pennies on the dollar, everything gone bankrupt from lack of money.

You know, stuff like the great commercial properties of the great metropolitan cities of the country, that real entrepreneurs busted a gut to build.

Edited on Tue Aug-03-10 02:10 PM by Larry Ogg
and it's not the magic of a magician that keeps this atrocity concealed, but rather, it is a natural human instinct, for people of conscience, to trust that their leaders will inform and rally them should their property and sovereignty be threatened by predators, but the instinct that predisposes people of conscience to trust in their leaders for the sake of survival is also their undoing, as few posses the psychological knowledge or ability to detect predators or their modus operandi, we are inclined to entrust that that is the job of government. The sovereignty of Americas monetary system and that of the "free" world should the number one issue of any true Democracy, and once predators control the wealth of a Nation, they have effectively taken control of that Nation, and the illusion of Democracy is nothing more than facade of a predator dominated Oligarchy...

Thank you kpete for posting the video and enticing my daily rant,
