Here's the original story from the Dubuque Telegraph-Herald;

Musician Ted Nugent made racially tinged remarks throughout his show Thursday night at the Mississippi Moon Bar in the Diamond Jo.

Within a few minutes of starting, Nugent commented on the race of his audience and the city of Dubuque.

"There's a lot of white people in this crowd -- I like that! (Dubuque) is a white town."

Nugent also pointed out at least one audience member and questioned his race.

I'm glad Nugent's getting called out by Keith for his crap.

3. I have to admit to having seen him in concert but he was opening

for Kiss at The Columbia Gorge Amphitheater. I only went because a buddy of mine lives for Kiss and I needed a good road trip anyway. That must have been in 2000 on the (this time we really mean it) Kiss farewell tour.
Interesting that he really kept his mouth shut about politics and had a Hispanic bass player, Marco Mendoza. The Gorge is a rural eastern Washington state area but he may have been clued into the crowd being largely from the western part of the state.
I missed his show in Lewiston, Idaho a couple of years ago. You'd think he would have really went off here but I was told he didn't really say much. One quick comment, something like, "all I'm saying is if you're gonna come here, learn to speak English."
I only ever listen to Double Live Gonzo, he was great back in the day. I bought that used. I will never give him a dime again!

6. Wow- Turd Nugent will be speaking at the Beck-a-thon?

I admit I saw him too- it was 1987-ish, and it was at a theme park. Yes even then he was playing theme parks. He had a bigger dressing room than the puppets.
