When I see somebody with an American Flag on their car, I think "traitor". Maybe not that exact word, but something pretty close. It is similar to when somebody is quick to tell me how honest and/or religious they are, I know immediately never to do business with that person. I can almost bet dollars to donuts that if I had a conversation with the person who is so quick to wave the flag and show off on their car that they are a True Amercan, that I would find out that this person probably is a big fan of Beck, Limbaugh and the like and that their actions are very american. They will be sure to tell me that they treasure the constitution, but they leave out the caveat "but only when it suits me". I can almost guarantee that a vast majority of the protestors at the Mosque have Flags sticking out of their car windows.
Sure, maybe I am painting with too broad of a brush, since I actually know somebody personally who has a flag on his car and is actually true to the beliefs of what made this country great. So, just to be clear, yest it is not 100%, but still a whole lot.
