1. I think they are full of crap. The Republicans have been using the

same strategy as long as I can remember and they seem to do just fine. They are saying if we lose in 2010 we have them right where we want them.

6. I remember 1968 when liberals were disgusted with Humphrey

and some of them were openly hoping Nixon would win so that the public would see how bad Republican rule could be. Damn, that one worked well. Nixon proved how bad a president could be, alright, but he was followed by other Republicans who left us looking back fondly on Nixon's liberalism.
