2. What an egomaniac.
Funny how he spouts off quotes like "judge by the content of character" etc. and then says "Oh, I'm not Martin Luther King". Of course not, how could anyone think that?

4. Right wing crackpots restoring honour, my ass. It was just another republican rally for the election
and the rantings and ravings of a deeply disturbed loony tune.

6. If Beck wants to be believable
(OMG), he should renounce his wealth and the disparaging inequality that is accelerating between the wealthy and the poor. There is a small, middle class left. My bible repeats the message throughout, that wealth and greediness is one of the mortal sins.
How can you preach returning to God, when you and your cadre are some of the wealthiest individuals (and striving for more at the expense of the poor) in the world?
It is a "perversion" and has nothing to do with any religion that I am aware of, with the possible exception of Scientology.
Most of the "tea baggers" I have seen are SS recipients and not wealthy. How can they reconcile this?
I suppose it is akin to attending the evangelical "mega-Churches, where all of the speakers are wealthy and the women look like painted puppets. It is a Jim Baker style of religion.
God wants you (us) to prosper....send your money now and we will pray for you...on our way to the bank.
What a despicable Charlatan.
Open your eyes "tea baggers", theirs is a "religion" of personal wealth. Does YOUR bible endorse that?
Having written that, this whole staged event (paid for by fox tee vee) was nothing to do with religion and all about the politics of wealth.

9. How can you preach returning to God,
What god?

This "I know what god wants" has been an excuse for wielding power over the credulous since the Stone Age. Way back then they had an excuse: ignorance. Mankind has been profoundly ignorant of everything around him for most of his existence on the planet. But now we know a lot. Not everything, but a lot. And plugging some god in to scare people into submission is just not ethical these days. "talking to god" has always been about power and money.... in every religion.

10. IMO, much of the original
"Bible" (Koran..etc..) was written (by men) as a guide to help them survive in a society.
Absolutely, immediately, this was used as a way to control and gain power over others.
These same fables and allusions had been around for millenia, as a guide to assist in life in a society...which foods to eat (before refrigerators), do not kill, adultery, etc...
Of course, people immediately saw a way to control and profit from others by using this "guide."
My point was(is) that all of these "religions" are against amassing wealth. (probably so people would "tithe" and the churches would accumulate the wealth)
Either way, if these people claim to be believers, then they should question why their "leaders" are wealthy, and they are poor...

7. This is one of the reasons that Fox "news" is just fucking awful..................
...........For their Sunday premier "Meet the Press" version show, they interview not a Congressman or a Senator or shit even the fucking dog catcher. They do what they do so often; they "interview" one of "their own". Look at all the whores they have on their payroll, Palin, Beck, O'Reilley, Hannity, Kristol, Krautheimer shit they would fill up Carnegie Hall. That's the same as me interviewing my wife about me.

because I don't have a clue as to what he's talking about. Chris had to summarize the event for him as even Glenn didn't know what was trying to be conveyed to the government and the rest of us but he knows how many hundreds of thousands were there.

Have to agree with doty. The underlying message was clear to me as well. That the wealthy religious have been blessed and owe no responsibility to those who are suffering even though it's thru no fault of their own.

There's nothing we can do to solve the problems and keep the peace?? People aren't happy? No people who have lost their jobs and homes sure aren't happy. People living in their car aren't happy. People who hear they can't get extensions on unemployment from their reps aren't happy.

Americans want the truth? Obviously they weren't paying attention in the Bush years and how much truth has come out about that administration. How convenient.

He doesn't agree raising the salary for a woman who's making $5/week working for someone who's making 100k?
That I understand.

Black voters were being intimidated by black panthers? When did this happen? 1 precinct, 2 men with 1 police club, supporting the minorty's right to vote without intimidation from opposers who would seek to stop them. Voter intimidation? Try south Florida in 2000. Real threats made to the counting board to stop the recount.

Can't watch anymore of this insidious self-center self-promoting nonsense. Beck's rally only served to marginalize real concerns over the growing debt, and hype the fear of Obama is coming for your wealth.

13. I could no more watch this egotistical ass hole than I could watch ...
...a turd swirl around in the stool before it disappears from site for 5 minutes. What a total waste of time.

This ass-hat deserves NO attention...and unfortunately, there seems to be NO WAY to turn the attention off this clown. It's a Catch 22. he is undeserving of the least amount of attention, yet he gets attention because he is so undeserving of attention??? Jesus...what a f*cked up media we have these days.

14. I've come to believe this. He is taking all the criminal stuff of Cheney/Bush
and all those who give the orders to Chenney Bush and Democratic leaders and enablers who join CheneyBush and their bosses -

and he is trying to turn it around so that everything can be blamed on Democrats. Especially for the election and for the history books.

NOW - we have reason to believe that everything he says is NOT JUST COMING FROM HIM. I have the gut feeling that everything he says is coming from higher ups. Palin isn't the person to do it. They need the most obnoxious messiah they can come up with and he is an excellent selection.

Therefore, I am very suspicious about something he said - which is Chenian and Rovian and worse.

40/40

forty days and forty nights - we "are forty days and forty nights away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America".

Counting from August 28, he is talking about (around) October 6 - depending on how a person counts it.

What the heck is that about?

The way the teabaggers and the rest of the right wing are always talking about getting back to the the togetherness that people felt on 9-11. For them it means ultra Patriot Act obedience and a vacation from ridicule.

Can they be planning something else that they THINK could create a slam dunk for Republicans to take essential seats.

Or is it something worse, such as enacting the Cheney plan for Change of Office - a completely rewritten and dessiminated to critical people for the sequence of filling Executive seats in the event of a disaster or emergency.

Is there an event planned that would result in the secret plan for The Change of Office that Cheney designed?

They are capable of calling anything an emergency and claiming that the new document supercedes the lawful sequence?

Crazy? Think 9-11 PNAC Pearl Harbor - that was crazy. Think massacres and torture and destructing a country - invading and occupying - that can be classified as crazy, also. How about the Patriot Act? How about waiting to send help to Louisiana - New Orleans and cops shooting the citizens and starving them and brining Blackwater in? Crazy? What about losing trillions of dollars and spending trillions more. Crazy?
