I'm actually about to post a vlog on here where I talk a little about DU. Love the site, but just like anything else in the world, there are always some people who have partisan blinders and can't imagine anything other than what they believe being right.

We can talk without the name calling, proselytizing and accusations. A liberal calling a conservative an idiot is no better than a conservative calling a liberal an idiot. What're we, five? (I only am when it comes to my love of cartoons!)

I mean, we're Democratic Underground. If you're a big Bush* supporter, you don't belong here and won't be tolerated for long... As for name calling, that's not okay either, per DU rules. You can attack the message, if you disagree, but not the messenger. Any "personal attack" (even if it's for having a low post count ;) ) is not okay and can get zapped by the mods. However, you can say absolutely anything you want about Dick Cheney, in fact, it's encouraged... :evilgrin:
