1. From the grass roots..
to Washington this should be made a campaign issue. Unless and until the Republicans pull back from their extreme rhetoric and attitudes they should have as little power in government as can be had and still have a 2 party system. I think that if they want to express an opinion contrary to liberal ones and can persuade rationally why their way is better; fine. But when they expressly say they will shut down the government if they don't get their way they are behaving as dictatorial 2 yr olds in the midst of a tantrum and the adults must stop that.
