2. Doesn't the "popemobile" sort of display a lack of confidence in the capabilities of god?
Funny how the feller upstairs became incredibly "camera shy" the minute technology made documentation and verification of "supernatural" events a possibility.

8. I can tell you that suction cups are not very reliable
Sometimes you pick something up with a suction cup and the suction loses it's grip midway. Could you imagine the PopeMobile dropping midflight from high up? Yikes! I would not want to be the guy responsible for cleaning up all of that Pope residue after the fall.

They don't believe that their god really exists.

or

They believe that their god wouldn't intervene if someone tried to shoot the pope.

If the latter, why would they care if their god doesn't? Wouldn't it be "god's will", calling the pope home or something?
