On Sept 14 hundreds of teachers protested outside the L.A. Times building in response to the newspapers use of skewed data in publicly ranking, naming & shaming 6000 teachers.

1. When will the L.A. Times publish their staff's performance reviews, any divorce settlements...
say, Phil Bronstein's to start...<fill in the blank>...plus all of their compensation information? Let's see who meets expectations!

2. Let's make one clear distinction
Fwiw, many advocacy groups publish all sorts of stuff on public employees' compensation, reviews, etc. PUBLIC employees - cops, firefighters, teachers.

Employees of the LA Times do not work for a govt. body.

The comparison should correctly be with other public employees (teachers compared to cops, firefighters, etc.).

Fwiw, I am not aware of any newspaper that routinely exposes performance reviews of cops and firefighters as opposed to teachers. The only time I see them do this is when a particular employee commits some questionable act.

To contrast, there are any # of public employee watchdog sites that routinely publish salaries, overtime, etc. of cops and firefighters, etc. and have every right to do so - since as public employees - it's public record.

I do not see them publish performance reviews though. At least not routinely
