I have watched it several times and it brings a smile to my face every time. I think that I know why.....It is because so many of us have wished that we were in a position to do exactly that. When I listen to Rushbo, Beck, Palin and here these arguments, there are so many times that I wish I could just jump in, start off with "Shut Up, I have listened to your Racist Bullshit!" and then make my case drectly to them. So, I guess that in short, we are living vicariously through Al D'amato for a few seconds.

5. But how come when so many Americans are out of work .....

here in the USA there are so many foreigners that have jobs driving taxi in NY?
I think that what we need is a national website that lists ALL jobs - then people in ALL states can see the positions that are available everywhere - and if a jobless American citizen (on welfare or unemployment) wants to relocate to a new state then there should be a subsidized bus/train ticket to get them to the new job.

People left their home states during the depression and the dust bowl in order to find work and there is no reason that they shouldn't do that now.

Also, for the folks that are in the jails/prisons for 'minor' crimes - I think that they should be given the option to join the military. It would be more productive for them to be working than the US taxpayers paying $40,000 per year to house them in jail/prison - especially when so many of our jails/prison are now privately owned.

We should demand that jails/prisons should NOT be privately owned and should NOT be a for profit industry.
Also, we must stop the slave labor wages of the prisoners that is now occurring in the prison system.
And the profits from selling the prisoners food, snacks, shampoo, personal items, etc. MUST STOP NOW.
Prisons were NOT set up for private companies to make money, prisons are there to punish and rehabilitate people
