1. Well she might have gotten a little too 'in your face' but that was harsh.

She might've made her point, but seemed to rush at him. A little uncool across the board. But certainly didn't need to be put on the ground.

Bless her resilience and ability to stay on message, even after the hit.

I score it a 50/50.

But she gets merit points for sincerity and tenacity.

7. We get beaten, tackled, maced, signs ripped up, assaulted, cordoned off into "Free Speech Zones" . .

. . . Repubs and THEIR demonstrations? PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT.

The cops march alongSIDE them. Repubs assault anti-war protestors? The cops look away. Freepers assaulted a Gold Star Dad in 2007 . . . NARY an arrest.

We protest politicians and get tackled and arrested.

8. Way too harsh... He grabbed her THROAT and pushed her to the ground

His left hand was on her upper right arm, and his right hand grabbed her by the throat and forced her down. Hand across the front of her neck, with thumb under her right ear, and index finger under her left ear. Complete overkill. I re-ran it in slow motion several times, because I couldn't believe it. (It was on our 10pm news.) His mouth goes tight and pursed, displaying his anger (when he first makes contact, we see is face.)

She grabs his right wrist with her left hand (trying to get his hand off her throat, I suspect.)

That's too brutal for just a loud, annoying protester.
