2. My first ever unrec. And what I think is a frightening observation on attitudes.

As far as the ick factor is concerned, get the fuck over it.

The more concerning thing is this. Just how fucking bad is it in America, that not only can such egregious disdain for safety standards occur as regularly as it happens, but that you expect it as absolutely inevitable. So inevitable that you dare not risk something as useful as recylced waste water.

I don't know about that neck of the woods, but the standards for sewerage treatment where I come from, require that waste water released into the envirionment be treated to drinking water standards as a matter of course. In most parts of urban or semi-urban Australia the dirtiest water comes in bottles on supermarket shelves.
