It's been going around my facebook friends' pages. My libertarian friend says it's unjustified. I tell him to look at the candidates.

I don't know how any reasonable non-Teabagger could say that this is unjustified. It lays out every single major screaming point of the Tea Party and refutes it in a completely non-fanatical fashion.

1. Constitutionality.
2. Low taxes.
3. Balancing the budget.
4. Reducing the deficit.
5. Decreasing the size of government.

I don't remember the rest. But I told him that the national Tea Party figures were all out of their minds. He said the party had been hijacked by nuts. I said "shouldn't that make it even more sensible to say that it's a party of crazies?"

He hasn't replied back yet.

5. This cute video lost me FB friends after posting.

My husband's best friend growing up is an MD-specialist, pot smoker and former hippie. We added him earlier this year, after he got a FB account. I noticed he put "Tea Party" as his politics. When I told hubbie, he said ewww just delete him. Instead I regularly post things I find on DU but this particular cute video must have touched a nerve. He deleted me.

He is someone who after sending his children (who have graduated) to public schools, now wants to stop their funding. Selfish rich bastard!
