Mike Papantonio and Ed Schultz discuss Jon Stewart's make believe idea that Democrats should try to make nice and compromise with the GOP, when that party has shown nothing but contempt for everything the Democrats have tried to accomplish.

1. I have been a huge fan of Pap since his days on AirAmerica with RFK Jr...
MSNBC needs to find some room for him...How about replacing that ass Joe Scarborough with him...?

Thanks for posting this video. It is excellent!!

2. Ease up on Stewart. He's a comedian and entertainer.
He's not supposed to be leading the charge on behalf of Democrats/progressives/liberals. That's not his job. I was at the rally, and thought he did an outstanding job of not making it overly politicized. It was all very upbeat. It was never his intention to "get out the vote" for Dems or rag on conservatives. His biggest point, which is valid, is that the 24 hour cable news and politicians foment controversy, urgency, conflict, fear, etc. And yes, the Republicans are the worst by far. However, most of the people in the real world don't operate that way. I abhor the GOP, but I also work and live with people who vote for Republicans, and we certainly don't go at each other every day.
