This should be illegal. Yes, we have freedom of speech, but there are limits to it such as screaming "FIRE!" in crowded theaters or public places or making death threats against a sitting president. Yet here we are, with a massive, coordinated and concentrated segment of the media dedicated to propaganda that has been actively hurting the country since its inception. The people responsible for this should be held accountable...like there is any chance at all of THAT concept (accountability) returning to American life any time soon...

It's been said that we're a country so divided because of misinformation, and I believe when they say "don't believe everything you read on the internet", they especially mean those anonymous emails that show up in your inbox without a link to a credible source.

Democrats, beginning with Howard Dean, mastered social networking to rally voters, but Republicans have the emailed internet hoax down to a fine science.
