3. I wonder if we would have seen Olbermann suspended if his contributions were to Republicans?
They apparently tolerate that if other comments on DU re true about Scarborough giving to Repubs.

Yeah, I know, the excuse given was that Olbermann didn't receive permission from the company. I still wonder if the punishment would have been as severe, if made at all, if the contributions were given to Republicans.

Olbermann was suspended indefinitely because he is in violation of NBC News ethics policy.


He has mentioned such restrictions before and stated that he understood why such regulations were in place.
