Weird Liberal Head reports the news of the day, including Rush Limbaugh's hypocritical accusations of racism, and talks about how Democrats can win 2011 and 2012:
MOVE FURTHER TO THE LEFT! BECOME MORE LIBERAL!
The public LOVES these liberal ideas- the public option, tax cuts for the middle class, no Bush tax cuts for rich, gay rights, and immigration reform.
If we had implemented these ideas in 2009 and 2010, we would have easily won.
We need to actively push liberal ideas and programs to get our loyal base- blacks, Jews, young voters- to the polls. We do that, we win.
Or, we can listen to defeated DINOs tell us we need to become more conservative, closer ideologically to the party that beat us. To them I say- will American conservatives and Independents really vote for (and trust) the newly Conservative Democrats, or for the GOP that has been moving ever further to the right, and is always consistent about their (backwards) positions?
