1. No. Not coming. Hyperbole, plain and simple.

2. Really? That is not what people who have been victimized

by them are saying. Groping three-old little girls is already here, so why would you doubt it?

And Chertoff's full body scanners despite opposition to them, have already arrived along with several incidents of abuse.

But, it's up to the American people. Boycotts work. And money talks. When they start losing more money than they are making on these ridiculous and cowardly 'security measures', they'll stop.

I hope there are lots of lawsuits also. Free country? Only if we want it and do not apologize for clear abuses of power.

Edited to add just one example of why this is not just 'coming our way', it is already here.

Pilot Refuses Full-Body Scan, Says It Would Violate His Rights

Michael Roberts, a first officer with ExpressJet Airlines, refused to submit to a full-body scan and then to a pat-down by Transportation Security Administration officials on Friday, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reported. He left Memphis International Airport without boarding a plane.

Roberts, who has worked for ExpressJet for more than four years, was wearing a pilot's uniform and identification at the time.

The security procedures left him with the choice of being physically assaulted or having his privacy violated, Roberts said.

"I was trying to avoid this assault on my person, and I'm not willing to have images of my nude body produced for some stranger in another room to look at either," Roberts told CNN.

Just one, there have been many, many of these abusive incidents reported and this man is standing up for all of us. He may lose his job, but of course we could help that not to happen by supporting him.

Turning a blind eye to abuse never makes it go away. The American people have been serially subjected to abuse under the guise of 'security' since 9/11 happened.

3. There is a movement to boycott the airlines until these abuses stop
This website is one where people can get information and learn how to protest this assault on the American people:

We Won't Fly

I remember a few years ago when a female member of Congress was subjected to an abusive search and afterwards decided to drive seven hours to DC each weak rather than fly under the circumstances. Her report to Congress among others, did force a scale back of abusive searches. But they're back and until there is some kind of legislation to permanently ban this despicable abuse of men, women and children, it will continue.

5. Seems strange that terrorists have this apparent fixation with airplanes
Wonder why "terrorist" seem to have this peculiar fixation about bombing aircraft and therefore supposedly engage in a continuous battle of wits with airport security staff to get a bomb onto an airplane, whereas there are still plenty of soft targets all around that they could go after if they wanted to strike fear into our freedom loving hearts and damage the economy. Don't you try to hit an enemy at his weakest point, not his strongest and most heavily defended? Sure an aircraft crashing from an onboard terrorist bomb would make for splashy headlines and fantastic publicity from a terrorist's point of view, but if that is too difficult to attain, as it appears to be, wouldn't it make sense to go after other targets that are more easily attacked (and would still produce the terror they are looking for), rather than engaging in a never ending cat and mouse game with airport security?

Regarding possibility that strip searches by the TSA might be coming to an airport near you, well I wouldn't be surprised. And if they want to really make you feel flying is safe, they better include anal/vaginal probes as sell. The latest DNA wrecking, backscatter X-Ray, nudy picture machines only show what's outside your body, not what might be hidden internally. It seems quite possible with the current procedures for a terrorist to stuff some explosives in a body cavity and make it through the screening process.

Prison smuggling: Mirror.co.uk’s Top Ten best ways to get things into jail

6. One woman risked life and limb to smuggle in a grenade to a Columbia prison. Hiding the weapon in her vagina she made it in as guards were not allowed to inspect female visitors genitals. The grenade later exploded killing three people.

Sure a hand grenade might set off the airport metal detector, but how about a condom stuffed with Semtex or other explosives carried aboard in the same location. Better be prepared to drop your drawers, bend over and spread those cheeks. No need to feel shy about it. You do want air travel to be safe, don't you?
